Sweet Spot Slippers

Sweet Spot Slippers are inspired by a sense of good fortune – everything from the mere fluke to universal success. While the simple geometry of the circle is repeated everywhere in the natural and mathematical worlds, the circle is also a favourite feature in culture and design. The circle is at once unmistakable and yet eternally mystical. I was inspired to tread on a sweet spot and bring this thought along with me in life as a touch of good fortune. And just like that, a circle transformed into a slipper.

The red dot under the foot was inspired by a footwear brand. Choose any colour for your dot.

 

  • Sizes: By measurement. Measure the length of your foot + 2 cm i diameter.
  • Suggested needles: crochet hook size 4,5 mm
  • Knit strength: 15 treble crochet stitches x 9 rounds on crochet hook size 4.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
  • Yarn suggestions: Like the photo: scraps of Gepard, Cotton Wool 5 og Gepard, Kid Silk 5

    You can, of course, use other yarns. Make the pattern sample to ensure that your yarns are suitable for this pattern.
