Lexi Scarf set

The Lexi Scarf Set comprises a conventional long, narrow scarf without fringes that is striped in two or more colours. Team the scarf with simple wrist warmers, Lexi Mitts.

Lexi Scarf and Lexi Mitts are both knitted in brioche. Lexi Mitts are knitted in the round on double-pointed knitting needles. . The scarf on the other hand is knitted back and forth. If you have no other knitting needles in the required size, the scarf is narrow enough to knit on two double-pointed knitting needles.

  • Sizes: LexiScarf: One size; Lexi Mitts: S/M (M/L)
  • Measure: Lexi Scarf: Length: 265 cm, width: 8 cm. Lexi Mitts: Length: 28 cm, circumference: 16.5-19 (18.5-22) cm. For glove sizing, see below.
  • Suggested needles: Double-pointed knitting needles size 5.5 mm, optional knitting needle type size 5.5 mm.
  • Knit strength: 20 sts x 26 rows of brioche on knitting needle size 5.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm
  • Yarn suggestions: Yarn idea 1: 1 strand of Gepard Eco Cashmere Vintage. LexiScarf, a total of about 84 g, Col 1: grey, 506; Col 2: green, 850. Lexi Mitts, a total of 35 (42) g. Yarn idea 2: 1 strand of Gepard Puno. This version is slightly thicker but also suitable for use with the pattern. See picture on page 5. I used leftover Puno yarn. Lexi Scarf, about 120 g, Lexi Mitts, 52 (63) g.
  • Note:

    You can, of course, use other yarns. Make the pattern sample to ensure that your yarns are suitable for this pattern.

    Glove sizes: Hand measurement (measure around your hand not including the thumb. Use a measuring tape.) S: 16.5 cm, M: 18.5 cm, L: 20.5cm.
