HoliTank

HoliTank is a tanktop that you can knit in three different lengths. Use it as a summer top, on the beach, with a t-shirt or a shirt.. The options are many and you can give your outfit a personal touch.

 

  • Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL
  • Measure: Finished measurements: Bust: 84 (90) 96 (102) 108 cm. Positive ease: 0– 10 cm.
    Length: Cropped: 35 (37) 37 (39) 41 cm; Medium: 43 (45) 45 (47) 49 cm; Long: 51 (53) 53 (55) 57 cm
  • Suggested needles: Circular knitting needles sizes 3.5 and 4 mm, 60 or 80 cm; circular knitting needle size 3.5 mm, 40 cm; double-pointed knitting needles size 3.5 mm.
  • Knit strength: Mesh pattern: approx. 26 sts x 22 rows on knitting needle size 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm Note that the mesh pattern is very elastic and has a soft drape. The mesh “opens up” when you wear the garment. The number of rows is reduced at about 10 cm intervals and the number of stitches greater than when the fabric is laid flat.
  • Yarn suggestions: 2 strands of CottonWool, 1 strand of Col 149 and 1 strand of Col 106.
    Cropped: 6 (7) 7 (8) 9 balls
    Medium: 7 (8) 9 (9) 11 balls
    Long: 8 (9) 10 (11) 13 balls
  • Note:

    You can of course use leftovers and suitable scraps from your stash. Make the pattern sample to ensure that your yarns are suitable for this pattern. For best results, do not knit too loosely and do not use too fine a yarn.
